Daniel Petric, 17, has been convicted of killing his mother, and injuring his father. The motive? His mother took away his Xbox 360 and his copy of Halo 3
Interestingly enough, Petric would've received life without parole. It's believed by many that the judge sided with the argument of the Defence that Petric was addicted to the point of delusion.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for people being cured for mental illness. But this is a serious setback for games, If people are going to be pinning mental illness on gaming again, maybe we should go back for other barbaric methods of blame
