So I predicted before E3 who and what would go down. Was I right?
First was my prediction that Microsoft needed to unveil games beyond Halo: ODST. Which they delivered. Left 4 Dead 2, Forza 3, and Splinter Cell: Conviction were announced to coincide with ODST. Beyond that in 2010 we have Final Fantasy XIII, Alan Wake, and Halo: Reach (Don't even forget about Project Natal)
Microsoft needed to show it's aces. And it definitly delivered.
As for the motion camera, I suspected it would need tight/responsive controls and amazing visuals. No doubt, Natal is hitting the nail over the head with this one.
Crackdown 2 was announced! Gears of War 3 wasn't. We did get Shadow Complex but I don't think that technically counts.
Alan Wake was playable. It even got a release date. Big strides for a developmentally challenged child.
The GTA IV DLC was announced before E3. Not enough room I suppose.
Molyneux unveiled the pedophile simulator: Milo. Creepy.
Finally my throw away guesses came true! The 360 is getting a downloadable title service for full retail games and a Metal Gear Solid game (Titled Rising) is coming to 360.
So Besides no Gears of War 3 I got everything right!
Nintendo time
New Mario and Metroid Games announced. Nice to acknowledge the hardcore fan base Nintendo.
No new Pokemon...kind of shocked!
Finally a new side scrolling Mario.
No Wii Motion Plus, and little Conduit news.
All in all, pretty good
Sony
God of War III, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, and PSP-3000 was a go,
Woo Hoo
So what do you guys say, am I a master predictor or what?
