Remember back in elementary school when educational games were all the rage? Games like The Oregon Trail were simple games that encouraged forward thinking and brought the media beyond being a simple entertainment one.
Nintendo seems bent on expanding the DS past being just a gaming machine. In a joint move, Nintendo and Sharp have announced a joint venture releasing Nintendo DS Classroom or Nintendo DS Kyoushitsu in Japan.
Being used to provide sample tests and tests themselves. The Software connects all surrounding DS's with the teachers computer to provide a way for integration between teacher and student.
The game...I mean educational software...will be available in February 2010
Until then, hit the books.
